There is the beautiful song called
You're coming home to me
It's one of the most comforting songs I have ever heard.
I heard it on Patty Griffin's album Downtown Church
and I may have cried
It's basically just saying to remember in every step of your life
that you are going home
going home to Christ our Lord.
Now, that seems like such a simple thought
but one that I haven't really put much thought into.
How comforting to think (especially in a very hard place in your life)
that Jesus is saying sweetly
"You're coming home to me
just remember
you're coming home to me."
