Oh heavenly day

I have had an interesting weekend.
I have been so emotional
I have just been thinking about so many things
tackling so many things
it doesnt help that its "no sleep november"
This morning as I was getting ready
Heavenly day by Patty Griffin came on shuffle
It's possibly my favorite song.
my mood simply changed when I heard it.
I think it is God's little reminder to me
of how I need to calm down
everything will be okay
look around you, see the beauty,
and how much
I love you.

I get so caught up in the moment that days are flying by without me knowing they are almost over.
I will never get that day back.
I just have to enjoy the day, I cant stress about tomorrow.
tomorrow will come,
as of right now, just enjoy your moment of living.

Oh heavenly day, all the clouds blew away
Got no trouble today with anyone
The smile on your face I live only to see
It's enough for me, baby, it's enough for me
Oh, heavenly day, heavenly day, heavenly day

Tomorrow may rain with sorrow
Here's a little time we can borrow
Forget all our troubles in these moments so few
All we've got right now, the only thing that
All we really have to do
Is have ourselves a heavenly day
Lay here and watch the trees sway
Oh, can't see no other way, no way, no way
Heavenly day, heavenly day, heavenly day

No one at my shoulder bringing me fears
Got no clouds up above me bringing me tears
Got nothing to tell you, I've got nothing much to say
Only I'm glad to be here with you
On this heavenly, heavenly, heavenly, heavenly
Heavenly day, all the trouble's gone away
Oh, for a while anyway, for a while anyway
Heavenly day, heavenly day, heavenly day

Heavenly Day by Patty Griffin

here she is singing it, she is simply wonderful.

I love this song! I think of you every time I hear it. I also think of you every time I hear "Do You Believe in Life After Love." Do you remember when that was your favorite song. Ha!

hahaha but I LOVED that song so much when I was little, almost as much as I loved Ricky Martin.
