One of my very best friends got engaged last night.

I could not be happier for them.

Kayla is seriously one of the best people I know.

She is loyal, funny, beautiful, smart, and above all, she loves God.

She is such a great example to me of a woman of faith.

I love her so much and I do not know what my life would be like without her.

I am so glad you aren't moving to Tulsa.

{and I know that it had to be hard for her to answer every time knowing I was going to bawl}

She is involved in my best memories

She is involved in my most embarrassing memories

{all I have to say is remember that one time beaver and she will know}

I simply cannot put into words the impact she has had in my life

but it is wonderful and I am so thankful for it

I have had a lot of questions about my wedding

I probably shouldn't let her play on my computer when she is supposed to be taking a nap

but how can you say no? Especially when she sits criss-cross apple sauce on your lap and refuses to touch the computer, so she can play with you

She is so fun, and funny

she was laughing the whole time and kept looking at me laughing

obviously she had no idea what was going on

but she just wants to make you happy, and she just wants to make you laugh.

I love this precious girl.

I GOT THE PEAR KITCHEN AID

I do not know how this slipped my mind!

It looks so beautiful in my kitchen

and we only had to spend $35 dollars on it

and plus it was for my birthday!

you know what...

the kitchen aid mixer has mighty powers

I have cooked once since it's been in MY kitchen

and I didn't even cry

and I actually knew what I was doing...

I watch them, and think about them all the time.

I want to be a cop now {not really, I am 22 years old and I would still sleep with a night light if I didn't upgrade to a husband}

is when my sonny calls to sing me happy birthday

{you can't answer at first, cause she has got to sing it on your voicemail, duh}

I dreamed of all the things I could make

and how beautiful this color would be

I was told,

"oh surely you will get one, I got one from my showers."

I surely was blessed with many many gracious and kind gifts

many useful things

but I guess it just wasn't my time for this beauty in the color pear

They'll name a city after us, and later say it's all our fault
