If only it was okay to wear big flower headbands in public...

I would wear it everyday...

and my heart is broken just a little

a girl can dream

and oh this girl sure did dream

I dreamed of all the things I could make

and how beautiful this color would be

it would maybe make me seem like a cook

and maybe boost my self esteem in the kitchen

I was told,

"oh surely you will get one, I got one from my showers."

I surely was blessed with many many gracious and kind gifts

many useful things

but I guess it just wasn't my time for this beauty in the color pear

Confession

I love cats

I love all animals really

but there was time I pretended that I didn't like cats

but I really do...

I bawled like a little baby this one time

when one met my tire

and it ended badly

very badly

and I bawled

did I mention that it was a baby kitten

a BABY and its mom was there

how terrible..

but one must move on

and I want a kitten

but where we live wont allow me to have one

husband doesn't like kittens

but maybe I will remind him of how I killed one

and I must have one to make all things right again..

and maybe I want to name it memory so I can sing this song to it all the time

Wish list

I am poor.

So so poor, and will be for a long time.

As a bride, we get to register for gifts

we get to get cute little things

just for our husbands eyes

and I couldn't be more thankful

or excited

but you know every bride deserves a wish list

of things that aren't for the kitchen

and that can be worn in public

and that the public would actually want to see me in.

Thank goodness for a thing called love.

The Simple Life

I want to live in a rolling home.

I will invite people who don't have homes to come and hang out with my future husband and me.

I will have cookies and pie.

My future husband will have a game of frisbee going on in no time.

You can come too if you would like.

It will be wonderful.

Today

I made a playlist

a playlist to listen to while I'm running.

To be honest it hasn't been to enjoyable, I like the way I feel after.

I just get bored, and not really motivated while I am running.

I haven't been listening to music.

So I am giving running with music a try.

I know it will work, it has to.

It is an amazing playlist.

All the songs I love to dance too.

Arcade Fire, The ting tings, The White Stripes, even rap songs.

Mom, I am 21, I think its time to let you know I listen to rap, even dance to rap songs, I might even be so inclined to dance while I'm running.

So don't be afraid when you see a tall, not so good, white girl dancing along smiling hill

It's just me.

I knew there was a reason

The other night I was over at Chase's, and I was looking at one of my guilty pleasures online

Anthropologie

It is so wonderful on so many levels.

I was looking at bedspreads and stuff and I came across one that I LOVE, so I showed Chase

thinking he would turn it down saying it was dumb, but no, he said he LOVED IT!

So, if any of you out there that are just dying to buy us a present, this is what I want.

We just need the quilt, and shams if you are extra nice.

I than started just looking at everything else they have, cause normally I just look at the clothes and shoes. Well I came across a tab that said hardware, so I looked, and my wildest dreams came true.

Yes, I have finally found a hardware store that is full of beautiful things, that allow me to be as sassy, and quirky, and girly as I want! Here are some lovely things I found

I than clicked over to the Kitchen section, I was NOT dissapointed, it was NOT to good to be true, Anthropologie, thank you for letting me be me everywhere in my house. Not only will my shoes and clothes look amazing, I can look and have beautiful things EVERYWHERE.

Now, can you possibly be a little cheaper?
